Summary: The place was perfect in every way. My aunt and I felt like we were at home thanks to the personal touches. We were given complimentary rum punch, breakfast on the rooftop each morning, a clean, beautiful room with a veranda. They paid for us to swim at a beach resort since we couldn’t swim in the sea. The staff warm and inviting. Great places to eat were within walking distance. This gem was a 10.!

Summary: Nice property with friendly and courteous front desk staff. Good breakfast and room service. Only problem is the owner/ proprietor was quite abrasive in her interactions. Yes, the reservation did not accurately reflect the correct number of guests due to some last minute change of plans. However, it was an easy fix, but she made more of it than was necessary. To be in the hospitality business, you must be able to pivot and accommodate your guests without a whole lot of complaining and attitude. Would have been a lower rating, but my daughter and her friends enjoyed their stay.

Summary: I have stayed at several places within the village and I must say Nirvana is my top choice now. The location couldn’t be any more perfect, beach was clean and beach chairs with umbrellas were provided. Kayaks and paddle board were also available. As far as the rooms, they were very clean and comfortable and had touches/amenities that made it feel resort like. To top it off, the staff was just so amazing and friendly. Really couldn’t have been a better stay. Looking forward to booking the Belizean Nirvana again!

Summary: Evan was at the Placencia airport waiting for us when we arrived. He took the time to drive us down the main street in Placencia before dropping us off at the sidewalk where another staff member was to take our luggage and walk us to the hotel. Everyone was so kind. The room was very clean and the view was spectacular. Right on the beach.
The hotel is very conveniently located near many restaurants, coffee shops, and shops. The hotel also pays for a pool pass at the Placencia Beach Club during the time that the sargassum is heavy on the beach. Someone cleans up the seaweed regularly though. Sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee (also provided by the hotel) in the mornings was picture perfect.
We were only at the hotel for breakfast to be served once. They had eggs and waffles, along with fruit, coffee, juice, cereal (I may be forgetting something). Breakfast was brought to our room the evening before for the next day when we had tours planned that left before breakfast time.
Our stay was so perfect! I highly recommend and hope I can go back soon!!

Summary: Me and my wife had a great experience at the Belizean Nirvana. The apartment had everything that you could ask for or need. The staff were attentive to all or our needs. The grounds were well kept with scenic views of the ocean. Would definitely return and refer family and friends that travel to Placencia.

Summary: We stayed in the Namaste Room (upper level, ocean view, 2 hammocks, comfortable seating). It was wonderful. Breakfast was perfect and appreciated. We stayed for 3 nights. Levi helped us with our luggage from the main street down the sidewalk - and drove us to our next hotel in the village. Owners were very responsive to messages. Highly recommend.
